FAQ

  • What's the vibe?

Blankets, picnics, books, birds, and just a general appreciation for our local environment and arts ecosystems. Come with friends, come with family, come with chosen family, come with food, but please do come to listen.

  • Can I bring my kids?

Of course! These gatherings are rooted in histories of all ages movements, and we take pride in organizing art for everyone. Kids can (almost) always come free. No shame in laughter, playing, or crying, that’s what real community sounds like.

  • How does this happen outdoors!?

We’ve poured a lot of love into building a low wattage and relatively mobile production kit that fits in the trunk of a car and runs off of a single solar powered battery. We’ve helped other arts series and organizations build their own, let us know if you wanna talk about it!

  • Any safety precautions though?

We’re first responder certified and have experience with first aid & cpr. Unless we’re out hiking, we prioritize hosting gatherings that are as accessible as possible within these great outdoors.

Our staff always has a first aid kit on hand in case needed, and with the heat that LA brings we always try to have an abundance of water as well! Please just bring a reusable bottle if you can.

  • How does membership work?

We keep it simple. You can sign up for a Living Earth membership, powered by WithFriends, which offers discounts for our gatherings and (one day) online shop. More little perks are on the way, but you know, one step at a time.

Our memberships can be canceled or paused at any time & we’re here if you have any questions or comments!

  • Sick! Can we talk?

Totally, email us anytime at hello@livingearth.la 🤙
